When I try to import through the front end, I get this error:
Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function generate_thumbnail() in /home3/arctic2/public_html/inc/plugins/ezgallery.php on line 6773

And for the other bulk upload issues and the settings I used, take a look at the screenshots.

Went back and images were in the bulk upload area so I ran it. Got some errors and it said it didn't upload but there are a lot of images in there.

The import link next to the categories doesn't work. I try that for bulk upload and get this error

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function generate_thumbnail() in /home3/mysite/public_html/inc/plugins/ezgallery.php:6773 Stack trace: #0 /home3/mysite/public_html/inc/plugins/ezgallery.php(1508): ImportPictures2() #1 /home3/mysite/public_html/inc/class_plugins.php(139): ezgallery_admin('') #2 /home3/mysite/public_html/admin/index.php(819): pluginSystem->run_hooks(Array) #3 {main} thrown in /home3/mysite/public_html/inc/plugins/ezgallery.php on line 6773

And now the normal bulk uploader I used before won't recognize the categories I have. I try to use the uploader and it says I need to select a category or a user category. I do have a category selected... I had over a thousand images in the bulk uploader. I cut it down to almost 700 and it recognized the category again. That is some wonky stuff...

I'm on php 7.1
Posted a new update which should fix import function. Batch add works but you first need to copy the images to the folder before visiting it.
I hid the exif error as well if the picture has bad data.

5.2.2
!Fixed import from directory function error on generate_thumbnail
!Better support for SSL. Version check is now over SSL, and social media sharing links/data is SSL.
Great! Working much better now. Really impressed with the support so far!

Note: When I go to the customers area here on the site, I don't see a download option for the gallery. Just looks like a forum thread. I had to use the link that was given when I purchased it... expires after 5 uses or in 120 days. The ejunkie.com link
Glad it is working better.

The forum thread in the very post of that thread should have the file as an attachment to download.

If it does, I don't have permission to see it...
