HTML in custom fields

I may be overlooking something, but I can't get HTML or Mycode/BBCode to work in custom fields for the gallery photos. Is there a way to make this happen?

Html in custom fields is not supported due to security risks. mainly cross site scripting attacks

Unrelated, but am I missing something that is preventing subcategories from displaying?

The setting looks fine
Do you have any custom permissions set on those categories for viewing?

No custom permissions on any of the categories just the default

If you click on a category do you see subcategories under it?
Also, noticed in your screenshot looks like you are missing unviewed icon.

Ah yes I've been meaning to upload the icon but haven't gotten to it~ 

When I click on the categories the subcategories do appear but subcategories within the subcategories do not appear

Check this setting "Counts child categories picture totals.
(Uses more queries)"
